A FUNDRAISING event will see furry friends donated to children in hospital A&E departments.
The annual Teddybear's Picnic, held at the Masonic Hall, at Bromley Common, saw more than £400 raised.
More than 100 friends and families attended the event, which saw children take part in a teddy bear walk and various sideshows, including hook-the-bottle and a raffle.
The Masonic Society has run the Teddies for Love and Care scheme for three years and delivers over 7,000 bears to seven hospitals in west Kent each year, including the Princess Royal University Hospital, in Farnborough.
Freemason Dave Butcher, who helped organise the event, said: "We were very pleased with the money raised and the turnout. I shouldn't think any child left without a teddy bear that day."
