FIVE teenagers wanted in connection with a £50,000 bus blaze, have been arrested by police.
Passengers had to be evacuated as the top deck of the Stagecoach bus burst into flames in Dartford Road, Dartford.
Following the release of CCTV footage from the bus on Monday, police received information about the teenagers' identities.
And yesterday officers from north Kent police arrested four 16-year olds from Bexley, Sidcup and Eltham and an 18-year old from Sidcup.
The five have been released on police bail pending a decision on whether to prosecute them.
The blaze, at 3.44pm on July 31, also caused an estimated £20,000 of damage to nearby homes where guttering and plastic windows and doors melted.
