JUDGES from the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) have visited the borough as part of the Britain in Bloom competition.
The two judges spent four-and-a-half hours in Bromley visiting parks, high streets, schools and allotments to decide what level of prize the borough should win.
Bromley will find out whether it is a gold, silver or bronze winner at the awards ceremony in Perth, Scotland, on September 21.
An award is assured because the borough is the only entry in the large city category.
Head of Bromley's parks and recreation Patrick Phillips said: "We know so many people get pleasure out of seeing the flowers and displays across the borough.
"A big thank you to the many Bromley residents, gardeners, businesses, friends' groups and communities involved."
Britain in Bloom is a nationwide campaign organised by the RHS to encourage communities to improve their areas.
