POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 25-year-old man was attacked outside a minicab office.
The man was speaking to a woman in Express Cabs, East Street, Bromley, when he was ushered outside by two white men and assaulted.
He managed to get away and ran up East Street towards Delano's nightclub where he was helped by a trainee nurse but when he saw his attacker approaching he ran away.
Detective Sergeant Sam Townsend, of Bromley police's community safety unit said: "The victim was assaulted in what appears to be an unprovoked attack.
"He received a serious injury and is lucky he has not lost the sight in his right eye."
Police are keen to speak to the female in the cab office and the trainee nurse who assisted the victim.
Anyone with any information about the attack, which occurred between 2am and 2.10am on July 30, should contact Det Sgt Townsend on 020 8284 8760.
