An Act of Remembrance will take place at the War Memorial on Biggin Hill Green on Sunday November 14 th.
As usual the event will commence at 12 noon so as to allow those attending St George’s Chapel and other locations and observing The Silence at 11 am, to be present.
Representatives of local schools, churches, uniformed organisations and village groups will lay more than 30 wreaths.
Individual remembrances may be placed on the Memorial during the short service, or privately at any time.
It is expected that around 300 people will be present.
Members of the public are invited to meet at Biggin Hill Green or to join the Parade of Respect lead by Rev Jeanette McLaren and the uniformed organisations setting off from St Mark’s Church at 11.45 am.
