A ROAD had to be closed last night (November 1) after a 4x4 overturned onto its side while going around a bend in Biggin Hill.
The driver managed to climb out of the vehicle's sunroof after the accident in Jewels Hill near Saltbox Hill at around 8pm.
He was checked over by ambulance staff at the roadside but did not need hospital treatment.
Police closed Jewels Hill and part of Saltbox Hill while the white Nissan X Trail Sport was removed from the scene.
The road was reopened at 11pm.
There have been no arrests.
