The OPS held their second Monochrome Print and Slide Competition at their weekly Tuesday meeting at The Small Hall, Christ Church, Charterhouse Road, Orpington.
Judged by Zoe Archer of Reflex club, Medway, the Society enjoyed a refreshing and encouraging evening of comments for entrants.
Top awards of the now standard 20 points went, in the monochrome competition, to "Barry" by Tracey Elvidge and "Silverback" by Tony Gilkes. In Class 1 "Misty Morning near Hawley" by Jan Gilkes got 20 points and a plus; "Ghost Rider" by Paul Griffiths, "At the Mercy of the Elements" and "Towards Seven Sisters" also by Peter Humphrey got top points.
In the slide competition "Shining Through" by John Abrook, "Sun Desk" by Paul Griffiths, "Firework cacophony" by Rob Miles and "Yellow" by Avril Blamey all got top awards of 20 with "Yellow" getting the plus.
