TWO community gardens in Northfleet have won a makeover from a team of green-fingered experts.
Garden Lodge day care centre in Deneholm Road and Northfleet Youth Centre in Hall Road will both have their gardens transformed by professionals from Millbrook Garden Centre.
The garden centre in Station Road, Southfleet, had launched a competition to find gardens in Gravesham in need of a makeover, and the work will start in the next few weeks.
Millbrook’s operations manager Darren Baker said: “Garden Lodge and Northfleet Youth Centre provide a valuable service to the community so it’s a pleasure to work with them on creating new gardens.”
