A 60-YEAR-OLD woman is fighting for her life after being hit by a van.
The woman, who has not been named, was rushed to a London hospital by air ambulance after collision in Longfield Avenue, New Barn, at around 1.30pm on Monday (September 6).
She suffered serious head injuries and is said to be critical but stable, while the driver of the Ford Transit van, a man said to be in his 30s, was not injured by the crash. Kent police’s Detective Sergeant Miles Bishop, who is investigating the crash, urged any witnesses to come forward with information which could help.
