AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a fire destroyed a maisonette in Gravesend.
Kent police and Kent Fire and Rescue Service has launched a joint investigation into the fire in Mackenzie Way, which started at around 3am on September 3.
Nobody was inside the maisonette or injured by the blaze, which is being treated as suspicious, and Kent police is asking for anyone with information which may help the investigation to come forward.
A spokeswoman said: “Police would like to speak to anyone who has information about the blaze or may have seen people acting suspiciously in the area at around the time of the fire.”
