PEOPLE are being invited to visit iconic buildings in Greenwich for free.

Architecture organisation, Open House London, will be holding the two day annual event from September 18.

This year 27 of the boroughs most iconic buildings will be opening their doors to the public for a celebration of architecture and design.

Visitors can enjoy Charlton House in Charlton Road, The Royal Artillery Museum Firepower in Woolwich and the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich.

Greenwich Council’s cabinet member for culture and the olympics, Councillor John Fahy, said: “Anyone with a keen sense of our history, or who wants an insight into what tomorrow is going to look like cannot afford to miss this weekend’s attractions.”
