OLYMPIC organisers will be urging volunteers to sign up at an event in central London.
The London 2012 Games Maker programme arrives in the capital tomorrow with two events for potential volunteers at the 2012 games.
Roles for volunteers in two years time will include meeting and greeting visitors, assisting spectators and ticket checking.
LOCOG (The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games) will be visiting Westminster and Newham to raise awareness.
Information events will take place at the McDonald's restaurant in Leicester Square from 10am to 2pm and at Stratford Library, 3 The Grove, Stratford from 3pm to 5pm.
The event is part of a UK-wide tour designed to find out more about the programme before applications open to the public on September 15.
