TWO men accused of killing a nightclub promoter in a gangland style execution have appeared in court.
Daniel Herbert, of Holywell Close, Orpington, had been on his way home from Rotherhithe when he was chased by a gang of men.
The 27-year-old was beaten unconscious, dragged to his knees and then shot in the head in Clements Road, Bermondsey, on August 17 last year.
Bobby Winser, aged 21, from Bermondsey, and Michael Campbell, aged 24, from Camberwell, appeared at the Old Bailey on September 1 charged with Mr Herbert’s murder.
They are next due to appear at the court on December 3 for a plea and case management hearing.
