A 64-YEAR-OLD golfer has raised £2,600 for charity by playing in his shorts every week for a year.
Keith Andrews completed the challenge every Sunday at Shooters Hill Golf Club in Eaglesfield Road, to raise money for the Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA).
Family friend, William Finch aged eight, suffers from Tuberous Sclerosis Complex which causes tumours to grow on his major organs.
William’s 41-year-old mum Jennie, of Plumstead Common, said: “Hats off to him. Come rain, shine or snow Keith has been there in his shorts.
“We really appreciate his support and raising awareness of the charity. A big thank you to him.”
TSA offers supports to people who have the condition.
