A HEALTH charity is offering people free blood pressure checks.
The Blood Pressure Association is setting up pressure stations across Lewisham and Greenwich as part of Know your Numbers! Week from Monday (September 13).
People can be tested for high blood pressure at ABC Pharmacy in Loampit Hill, Lewisham, Asda Pharmacy in Bugsby Way, Charlton, and Bentleys Chemist, in Brockley Road, Brockley.
Executive director of the charity, Mike Rich, said: “We want everyone to lower their odds of stroke and heart attack, by having their free blood pressure check.”
Blackheath Hospital, Ladywell Pharmacy, in Adelaide Avenue, Brockley and Day Lewis, in Newmarket Green, Eltham, are also offering the service.
Lewis Grove Pharmacy, in Lewis Grove, Lewisham, will also be offering an additional glucose and BMI test.
