A CHARITY which supports disabled young people is holding a golf day to raise money to send children on holiday.
The Parents Consortium, which supports children and their carers in north Kent, has organised the event at Lullingstone Park Golf Course in Chelsfield on September 10.
It hopes to raise the £8,500 needed to send six youngsters and their carers on an activity holiday, and so far around 90 people have signed up for the event at the golf course in Parkgate Road.
Isabel Shuter, fundraising co-ordinator for the consortium, which is based at Allsworth Court in St David's Road, Hextable, said: “The activity holiday will help the young people develop and be a lot of fun.”
