COMEDIAN Robin Ince is starting a nationwide tour this month, performing at the Greenwich Comedy Festival next Tuesday.
The show is based on his latest book The Bad Book Club, which is a compilation and celebration of the world’s worst, and inadvertently hilarious, books and News Shopper has five copies up for grabs.
His treasure trove of under-appreciated classics includes vengeful beast horrors such as Crabs on the Rampage, (where Wales is the unlikely setting of a sociopathic crustacean invasion), romance sub-genres from the equine Diamond Stud to the gynaecological Sign of the Speculum and celebrity autobiography such as Syd Little’s Little Goes a Long Way and his later volume Little By Little.
For your chance to win, just answer the following question: Where will Robin Ince be performing next Tuesday?
A) Greenwich Comedy Festival, B) Edinburgh Fringe, C) Gay Pride
Text your answer to 80360, starting with BADBOOK, leave a space and then put your answer, name, number, email and address.
Or send your entry with your name, address and contact phone number on a postcard or a stuck-down envelope to: Bad Book Club Competition, News Shopper, Mega House, Crest View Drive, Petts Wood, BR5 1BT.
