PEOPLE are being invited to perform at an open mic night.
The Morden arms in Brand Street, Greenwich and the Railway Tavern in Blackheath village will be hosting the fortnightly shows from 8.30pm to 11pm.
Ben Golding, a music teacher at Greenwich Community College, is organising the free events.
He said: “The main purpose of the nights is so artists can gradually begin performing without the stress and hassle of having to book gigs or cut deals with promoters.”
The next open mic night will take place on September 9 at The Morden Arms and then September 15 at the Railway Tavern.
