PEOPLE are being urged to get on their bikes to raise money for a hospice.
The annual Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice sponsored cycle ride takes place on October 3 from 10am.
Participants have a choice of three start locations and six routes, which are either 12 or 24 miles long.
Fundraising Manager Howard King is hoping more than 1,000 people will take up the challenge.
He said: "Our annual cycle is the biggest event of its kind in Greenwich and Bexley.
"It is ideal for families as most of the route takes you along the Thames Path in a traffic-free environment."
Registration costs £10 and £5 for under 15’s.
To sign up, visit cottagehospice.org.uk/cycle or email info@gbch.org.uk or call 020 8319 9230.
