POLICE are urging people who have information on a road traffic incident to come forward after one of the casualties has taken a turn for the worse.
The collision happened at the Darenth Road junction with Princes Road at around 10.50am on August 20 and involved a red Vauxhall Corsa and silver Peugeot 207.
A 74-year-old woman travelling in the Corsa suffered minor injuries but has since got worse, while a man in his 80s travelling in the same car suffered minor injuries.
A woman and two children travelling in the other car also suffered minor injuries.
PC Chris Oliver-Jones from Kent police’s serious crash investigation unit said: “This was at the time considered to be a minor collision with minor injuries.
“However, the elderly woman travelling in the Corsa has since become more seriously ill and is in hospital receiving treatment for a head injury.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has information which may help us with our inquiries to get in touch.”
