TWO Bexley councillors have been appointed as new non-executive directors at Bexley Care Trust.
John Davey, councillor for Lesnes Abbey ward, and Eileen Pallen, a newly elected councillor for Crayford, will serve on the trust board for four years or until their current term as a councillor finishes.Councillor Davey is a computer software consultant and chairman of Bexley Arts Council.
He is also a governor at three schools.
A trustee for a local carers’ charity, Councillor Pallen has also worked for an anti-bullying charity dealing with young people.
She is now employed by a variety of organisations to investigate claims of harassment and bullying.
She has lived in Bexley for more than 20 years.
They will be paid £7,882 a year.
