PEOPLE have been celebrating at a garden fete to help raise money for a residential home.
Cake and vegetarian stalls, face painting, a tombola, BBQ and 60’s music was on offer at Dave Ramsey House in Orchard Road, Plumstead.
More than £500 was raised for the residential home, which provides independent living for people over 55.
The cash will go towards running the social club for residents to have more outings.
Around 150 people attended the event including the Mayor of Greenwich, Councillor Barbara Barwick.
Chairman of Dave Ramsey House, Pete Smith, said: “It was a lovely and splendid day. Thanks to all the volunteers for their help and the sponsors for their donations.”
Organisers hope to make the fete an annual event.
