THRILL seeking youngsters have had an adventure packed week thanks to a council’s youth initiative.
Children from Swanley and New Ash Green spent seven days at the Halls Green Adventure Centre in Weald, Sevenoaks, from August 14 as part of Sevenoaks District Council's '8-12s' project.
The project, which aims to provide children with recreational and educational opportunities, encouraged youngsters to take part in canoeing, swimming and assault courses.
Cabinet member with responsibility for young people Councillor Pat Bosley, said: “It provides young people with the opportunity to make new friends and try out new and exciting activities and experiences in a safe and friendly way.”
