A 99P pen which kills 99.9 per cent of harmful bacteria is being sold by a hospice.
The pen, which fights viruses including MRSA, C Difficile, swine flu and the norovirus, is also being used by nurses at Harris HospisCare in Tregony Road, Orpington to boost hygiene levels.
Members of the public can buy the pens, supplied by Recognition Express Bromley and Dartford, from any of the hospice’s six shops throughout the area.
Fundraising manager Christine Davies said: “We’re always on the look out for new and interesting products to help boost our fundraising and a product that helps us reduce the risk of passing on germs or infections to others is a good fit for us.”
