A BOROUGH is celebrating Black History Month with a series of events.
Lewisham will be hosting various activities from storytelling to arts and crafts to celebrate the culture, history and achievements of black and ethnic minority communities.
A free Blackheath Goes Gospel Course will be running every Wednesday from September 15 to November 10.
It takes place at Blackheath Halls in Lee Road, Blackheath, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
People can join a free anti-fascist tour of East London on September 29.
Meet outside Goldsmiths library, New Cross, from 1pm.
Mayor of Lewisham Sir Steve Bullock said: “I hope the people of Lewisham will support the programme and take full advantage of all the activates.”
