AN Erith man has just been crowned a construction training college’s Apprentice of the Year Jason Cade, 21, of Slade Green Road, Slade Green, was one of 17 apprentices rewarded by the National Construction College East at a ceremony at the college in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
Mr Cade, who works for Carrier Rental Systems UK, also won the college’s top plant mechanic apprentice award.
He was presented with his awards by former Olympic athlete Kris Akabusi who spoke about his rise to success.
The College is part of the National Construction College (NCC), Europe’s biggest construction industry trainer which trains 30,000 apprentices and adult learners every year.
