PEOPLE who experienced the Blitz are invited to share their memories.
Firepower, the Royal Artillery Museum in Woolwich and the University of Greenwich have joined forces to hold a Blitz Witness Day for people to share their experiences with other survivors.
It is being held on September 4 from 11am at Firepower and participants will also be invited to contribute to the university’s new Memories of War project.
An exhibition of people’s stories of bombings, evacuation, life on the home front and service at home and overseas will be held at the University of Greenwich from September 17 to October 15 in the Stephen Lawrence Gallery.
