GCSE success has come early for a girl who got an A* in Japanese – at age 10.
Hana Broadhurst took the exam after being taught by her mother Kumiko at their home in Holligrave Road, Bromley.
The Bromley High Junior School pupil took the exam because her mother is Japanese and because she used to attend a Japanese Saturday school.
Her father Martin Broadhurst, 46, said: “I’m very pleased for her.
“It is important for her to have both languages and cultures.”
