OFFICERS continue to appeal for information after a 15-year-old pedestrian from Beckenham died in hospital following a crash in Camberwell.
Desean McDonald was struck by a black Mazda RX8 in Denmark Road close to the junction with Camberwell Station Road at around 6.50pm on August 12.
He was taken to King's College Hospital with serious head injuries but died on August 15.
A post mortem examination gave the cause of death as head injury.
An inquest was opened and adjourned at Southwark Coroner’s Court last Thursday (August 19).
