A 38-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with fraud after claiming compensation from local authorities for a string of alleged accidents across London.
Over 17 months, Nathan Williams, from Soho, made claims for injuries to his face, foot and knee.
Williams initially claimed for injuries caused by tripping up in Hackney and Haringey in November 2007 and February 2008.
On May 11, 2008, he claimed to have tripped in Ormanton Road, Sydenham, bruising a testicle and fracturing his hip.
He made five more claims, the final one for tripping up in Woolwich Road, Greenwich, on June 28.
Williams, who is charged with eight counts of fraud, has been remanded in custody to appear at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court on September 1.
