FISHING lessons for young wannabe anglers have once again proved to be a huge success.
Qualified angling coach Warren White has once again run twice daily sessions for five to 17-year-olds every Friday this August, with the last taking place this Friday (August 27).
The two-and-a-half-hour sessions take place at Darenth Fishery in Darenth Hill, Dartford, and each young person gets expert tuition from Mr White and fellow coach Charlie Rayner.
Mr White, aged 47, said: “This is the third year of the angling course and it seems to get more popular each year as once again we were over-subscribed.
“I think the course is so successful because the children are first taught the basics of angling and then various styles of fishing.”
