FAMILIES from an estate have been celebrating at an annual fun day.
Youngsters enjoyed face painting, a bouncy castle and a football tournament as well as the Woodville's got Talent competition.
Around 60 people from Woodville Estate in Rochester Way, Blackheath, attended the event at the Woodville Ball Court.
Environmental regeneration charity Groundwork London worked in partnership with Greenwich Council and Greenwich Community Games to organise the event.
It was funded through Barclays Spaces for Sports programme, which provides sporting facilities in disadvantaged communities.
Groundwork’s community programme manager, Sarah Smith, said: “The funding comes to an end this year. However the community are going to continue the annual event by fund raising themselves.
“I would like to say a special thank you to resident Evie Hoyte who gets the community motivated and moving.”
