A PENSIONER who was hit by her husband’s car when he was reversing out of their drive is recovering well.
The 87-year-old woman was taken to Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup, suffering from head injuries after the incident in Court Road, Orpington.
She was critically ill but is now making a good recovery and is sitting up and talking to her visitors at the hospital.
Her husband who was driving a Ford Fiesta at the time of the incident, at around 4.50pm on August 17, did not need medical treatment.
Police, ambulance, fire brigade and air ambulance were called to the accident.
