A COLLAPSED sewer has forced part of the South Circular to close for two weeks while it is rebuilt.
The sewer, which runs below London Road near Sainsbury's in Forest Hill, collapsed on Friday (August 13).
A Thames Water spokeswoman said emergency repairs would take place over the next two weeks and a traffic diversion had been set up.
The road is closed both ways between Sydenham Hill and Dartmouth Road.
The spokeswoman added: "We are really sorry for the inconvenience this is causing road-users."
