A MINI driver who was seriously injured in a crash in Biggin Hill on Monday (August 10) is expected to be released from hospital this weekend.
The 39-year-old is now conscious in Kings College Hospital, Denmark Hill, where she has been receiving treatment for multiple injuries.
She has undergone several operations since the accident in Oaklands Lane where she suffered broken ankles, a broken thigh bone and a ruptured liver.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision, which police say was a white Mitsubishi dropside scaffolding lorry, was able to get out on his own.
He sustained multiple injuries in the crash and was taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough.
Oaklands Lane was closed from the junction of Norhead Lane to Saltbox Hill from when the accident happened at around 4.30pm on Monday until 1.53am the next day.
There have been no arrests.
