A MEMBERSHIP scheme which will enable people to have a say in the running of the borough’s health services has been launched in Bexley.
The scheme, Your Health Matters, run by Bexley Care Trust is the first of its kind in London.
Membership will entitle people to attend conferences and open days as well as receive text messages and email alerts providing news on changes to health services, take part in surveys and receive feedback.
To sign up, people will have to give some information about their health needs and expectations and as well as a membership card they will receive exclusive offers and the chance to win a £400 leisure pass.
Trust chairman Barbara Scott said: ”It’s a real chance to make a difference and the more people who join up, the stronger it will be.”
