Toni Rudman
A 19-YEAR-OLD has appeared in court charged with the murder of a young woman.
Toni Rudman was killed near a builder’s yard in North Road, off White Hart Road, Plumstead, at around 8pm on August 7.
Emergency services were called to reports of an assault but could not save the 24-year-old and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post mortem examination gave the cause of death as head injuries.
Ryan Backhouse, of Brookhill Close, Woolwich, appeared at the Old Bailey today where he was denied bail.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey again on November 15.
