TWO motorists are in hospital after sustaining multiple injuries in a crash between a Mini and a lorry in Biggin Hill.
The driver of the red Mini One was at first thought to be critically ill after the crash in Oaklands Lane at around 4.30pm yesterday (August 10).
After being cut out of her car she was taken to Kings College Hospital, Denmark Hill.
She is being treated for injuries including broken ankles, a broken thigh bone and a ruptured liver and is now said to be in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the other vehicle, which police say was a white Mitsubishi dropside scaffolding lorry, was able to get out on his own.
He sustained multiple injuries in the crash and was taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Oaklands Lane was closed from the junction of Norhead Lane to Saltbox Hill until 1.53am this morning.
There have been no arrests.
