THAMESMEAD boss Keith McMahon has secured the services of striker Adriano Lawson from Ryman League North rivals Harlow Town.
"A very quick forward who will add something different to the squad," was the assesment of McMahoon regarding his latest recruit.
"Adriano really impressed on the final day of last season when he scored twice against us."
McMahon has spent the last nine days dwindling down the large array of trialists in preparation for the start of the new Ryman League Division One North season.
During this period Mead have crammed in five games.
Following a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Kent League side Corinthian, Thamesmead overcame Ryman League Premier Division side Maidstone United 1-0 courtesy of a goal from trialist Derek Okeye.
Meanwhile, last Tuesday night a brace from Gabriel Momundo, along with a Lew Tozer effort, was sufficient to see off Essex League Champions Stansted 3-2.
A dour 0-0 draw ensued at Kent County League side Phoenix Sports on Thursday, but it was much improved performance on Saturday that saw Mead defeat Ryman League South side Walton & Hersham 3-0.
