A CAMPAIGN has been launched to raise awareness about health risks related to drinking excessive alcohol.
Lewisham Council and members of the Safer Lewisham Partnership are running the Save Dave campaign until August 22.
The aim is to inform residents of health risks related to alcohol, show people where they can go for free advice and reduce alcohol related hospital admissions.
Drop-in advice sessions will be held at Boots the Chemist from 2pm until 4pm at the Rushey Green branch, Catford, on August 17 and 18.
They will also run at the same time on August 19 and 20 at the Lewisham High Street store.
Staff will be handing out leaflets about the campaign on Friday (August 13) from 1pm as they walk from Lewisham Town Hall in Catford to Lewisham Town Centre.
