AN international engineering consultancy firm has been awarded two four-year contracts by Bexley Council at a cost of £4m.
Parsons Brinkerhoff’s work will cover all transportation and traffic engineering services and traffic data collection in the borough.
The aim will be to reduce congestion, improve collision hot spots, encourage public transport use and support the London Mayor’s transport strategy.
Its work will include transportation and traffic surveys and safety audits and developing a range of area-based and corridor-based transport management schemes across the borough to create a safer and more efficient road transport infrastructure.
