LARK in the Park, the annual free school holiday activity programme, was the venue for the latest neighbourhood policing panel meeting for Sidcup ward.
Held at Sidcup Place, the meeting attracted a large number of residents and community groups to determine what the ward’s policing priorities will be for the next three months.
The meeting asked police to concentrate on the supply of drugs in the area and on road safety.
Before the meeting, the ward’s youth panel, which consists of students from Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School, Hurstmere School and members of Sidcup Youth Club, met and asked officers to focus on anti-social behaviour in Sidcup High Street, as the third priority.
