RESIDENTS are being invited to promote a national census.
The Office for National Statistics is asking people in Gravesham to help them carry out their census to estimate the number of people in the borough.
Census coordinators, special enumerators and census collectors are some of the roles that need to be filled.
The census, which takes place every 10 years, will provide national population estimates which the government can use to deliver public services.
Director of census recruitment James Roe said: “Census jobs offer people a chance to get involved in a national project that has the potential to deliver real benefits to them and their local community.”
The next census is on March 27 next year.
