A MURAL designed and created by youngsters on an estate has been unveiled.
Covering the entirety of the tunnel passag at Rixon House in Woolwich’s Branfield estate, the young people worked with artist Heather Martin from education charity Arts Express to make the mural.
It was planned in May and painted in June before finally being launched.
Charity artistic director Damion Viney said: “It’s been a real joy working on the Barnfield Estate. We had a great response from the community coming up with design ideas and making time to paint the mural.
“It’s a great example of how a community can make a positive contribution to their environment.”
