A DISTRAUGHT mother has issued an appeal to help find her two missing cats which disappeared over two days.

Six-year-old Cheeky, a black cat, was last seen on Sunday (August 1) at around 3pm by owners Kelly and Sean Griffin.

Snoop, a four-year-old black and white cat, went missing Monday evening.

Their bengal kitten called Missy, which disappeared around noon on Monday, returned home this morning at 2am August 5).

Mrs Griffin, of Steyning Grove, Mottingham, said: “I’m drained. I can’t find the words to describe how I feel.

“I’m devastated. I have been up all night sobbing and my daughter is the same.”

The 34-year-old added: “They have got a loving home they would never just wander off.

“We don’t care who took them or why they took them, we just want them back.”

The family have been driving around the streets looking for their pets and posting flyers through people’s doors but no-one has seen them.

Mrs Griffin, who also has two other cats, said: “They only really went four or five gardens either way from our house.

“Every time we called them they would come running back.”

She added: “There’s no sign of them whatsoever. It’s like they have vanished but no-one else’s cat has.”

Mrs Griffin contacted the police but was told although it was unusual there was nothing they could do.

The RSPCA told the family it was suspicious.

It said if the cats had come into contact with a fox, it was the fox that would usually come off worse.
