A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD girl has cycled five miles to raise money for the hospital which cared for her granddad before he died.
Isabella Rodgers raised £515 by cycling around the park near her home in Belmont Road, Beckenham, and she has donated the money to Darent Valley Hospital.
The hospital cared for her granddad Michael Daley until he died aged 75 in January from a heart condition, and Isabella wanted to thank the staff for their excellent care for him.
Isabella presented staff with a cheque today, and said: “I wanted to give my birthday money in memory of my Granddad but my mum said that it was better to raise it than to give my birthday money.”
