NEWBIES pulled off rad moves with the help of a pro at a skatepark’s official launch.
Total beginners and veteran skateboarders alike turned up to Biggin Hill Recreation Ground to get free tuition from professional Jussi Korhonen.
Crowds at the event also enjoyed a barbecue, refreshments and music from Bromley youth service’s (BYS) music bus.
Portfolio holder for children and young people Councillor Ernest Noad said: “This was just one of a number of events organised to encourage young people to get outside and get involved this summer.
“It’s important for young people to have the chance to take part in constructive activities like sport during their spare time.”
