A YOUTH club is due to return in the autumn following a successful weekly trial.
Burnt Ash Youth Club, based at the Burnt Ash Children and Family Centre in Rangefield Road, Bromley, is for children aged from nine to 12 and will run every Thursday between 6 and 8pm throughout the school term.
The club, which runs activities ranging from indoor sports to console gaming, was set up by the children and family centre along with Burnt Ash Primary School and youth charity JusB.
Area coordinator for Bromley Council’s children and family project Cherry Morel said: “This is a great initiative as it supports local children in their transition to secondary school which can commonly be a daunting experience.”
