POLICE are appealing for two women to come forward in connection with a sexual assault.

On July 19 at 2.30pm the women were seen on CCTV walking along Dalrymple Road, Brockley, near the railway bridge leading to Turnham Road.

As they approached the bridge, one of the women, who was pushing a buggy with a small child, was approached from behind.

The suspect grabbed her, ran a few paces then turned around and exposed himself to both women before running off.

Moments later the women, who are aged around 18 to 22, stopped a young man passing on his bike.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Claire Rutherford said: “We would like to speak to these two women and anybody else who thinks they may have been a victim of a sexual assault in the Brockley area so we can offer them support and bring the offender to justice.”

Anyone with information should call 0208 284 3991, 0300 123 1212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
