MANSIZE bubbles and other weird scientific feats made learning fun at a summer fete.
The main attraction at the Marian Vine primary school weird science fair was a bubbles show by a team from the Science Museum.
It taught the children at the school in Shirley Crescent, Elmers End, about molecules and even made a bubble big enough to cover the head teacher Ian Redgrave.
Other attractions at the event included face painting and a coconut shy.
Mr Redgrave said: “We are very lucky to have an active and enthusiastic parents and teachers association and a school in which everyone takes part and takes pride.
“The summer fair is the main event in the school social calendar and a chance for the local community to get together and support the school.”
